Smart rooms, food is pricey and limited, with a very cluncky app ordering system. It's clean, but sparse of any personality.... then again what do you expect from an airport based hotel. Helpful staff
It's the second time I stay here. Very nice staff. Today I was supported by Ana, who provide a show on customer care. Breakfast is good and conveniently served at early hours for who will go offshore. Bedrooms are clean and comfortable. A shuttle to town and airport would be great
The room is normal, but there is some noise from the air conditioner. Housekeeping is not good sometimes. Food is also not good. No more options. Usually, it is the same food every day. The recreation room and restaurant are in the same area. There are no more activities in the hotel. TV is also very small. Only those who are sitting at the front table can watch TV. All working personnel except one are very helpful and smile face.
We got such a warm welcome and throughout our stay help was always available my mum was given help with her luggage without asking we had room service wonderful food and no trouble getting some ice for our wine The room was warm and quiet
In general I am not a fan of airport hotels. While they are usually very convenient as being close to an airport , amenities are usually lacking and overall quality is usually pretty low. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the Hampton located next to the Aberdeen, Scotland airport. The location was excellent, less than a mile from the airport snd the car rental center. After a sixteen hour day of traveling we arrived at the hotel at 11:00 am and were pleasantly surprised that our room was ready for check in. We expected to wait around until 3:00 pm for official check in time, but the staff member on duty greeted us with a smaile and told us our room was ready. Our room was small and utilitarian (it apparently was an upgrade because of our Diamond status) but was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Lots of places to charge our devices, a comfy bed, and the bathroom had great water pressure and very large fluffy towels. Food is available in the dining room from 12:00 pm until 10:00 pm. It is a very basic/limited menu and you order from your phone, but our pizza we ordered for lunch eas very good and cooked perfectly. They offered Continental breakfast at 6:30 and a full hot breakfast at 7:30 am (times are earlier during the week, so check). Both the Continental and hot breakfasts were excellent, a lot of variety and it was one of the better breakfast buffets we had ever had at a Hampton. Best of all was the staff. I wish I had gotten individual staff members' names, because they all deserved special mention. Everyone was friendly, professional, and helpful. They truly made us feel welcome. We will return in a couple of weeks at the end of our Scottish holiday before flying home and we actually look forward to staying at this particular airport hotel. Highly recommended.
The airport is located very close to the airport, less than 10 minutes walking. The reception staff was friendly and gave us all the info needed for our stay. The room was spacious and very clean. A nice desk, TV, coffee tray and a/c. The bathroom was also very clean and big. Great stay if you are catching a flight from Aberdeen. Great hotel with modern amenities! The rooms are clean and the staff was friendly. I was surprised at their breakfast; they had many items to choose from. I had dinner there once. The Greek salad and pesto pasta, both were very large portions and tasted good. The parking lot was always full so it’s best to get there early so you can get a spot. It’s an easy location to get in and out of. I would recommend it to anyone passing through or flying in/out of the local airport.
Nice friendly and informative greeting by front of house staff. Rooms nice enough and seems quiet even though hotel seems busy, we didn't have a car which is just as well as parking might have been an issue.
